Acknowledge your positive past

Today (as any other day) is a good day to acknowledge your positive past.

It is a general human tendency to remember failures and forget about our successes.

However, we experience both and both have their relative value.

In this case, we are talking about recognising our successes to praise our accomplishments. The ultimate reason being to feel good about ourselves and to give us that extra energy to push through life with confidence and enthusiasm.

Here’s a fun exercise to bring up your positive past experiences.

Divide your age by 3 time periods (for example, if you are 30 years old, from 0 – 10, from 11 – 20 and from 21 to 30) and for each period write down your 3 greatest achievements.

Then read them, bring back those feelings of joy, and use those positive emotions to fuel new successes.
