Gift Ideas for Travellers

One of our greatest passions is to travel, hence it may come as no surprise that we have quite a list of gift ideas for travellers. Here you will find a list of the items we have found to be fundamental in our travels. For this reason we believe they can be perfect gifts for any travel lover. (For more information on each item click the image)

1 – Portable electronic scale

Having a portable electronic scale can mean the difference between a relaxed or a tense check in. And oh boy do we know about that! Knowing whether your luggage is within the weight allowance for your flight is fundamental, especially if you really don’t want to run the risk of paying extra. For this reason, nowadays, a portable electronic scale comes in the top of our travel essentials check list.
Check out this story to find out how handy a portable electronic scale can be!

2 – Travel Organizers with Laundry Bag

sFor long trips or weekend getaways, it is good to have things organised. These travel organisers came in handy to separate different types of clothes and accessories. We even use travel organisers to put away all the cables and gadgets! This set is particularly useful as it comes with an extra laundry bag to avoid having dirty and clean clothes mixed together.

3 –  4 Travel Size Silicone Bottles – TSA Approved

The third on our list of gift ideas for travellers is this adorable and super useful set of containers. You can breeze through airport security with these fun, TSA approved, BPS free, fit for carry-on silicon containers. The non-drip valve and tripple sealing cap make sure there are not unwanted spills in your luggage. The bottles have a suction feature that allow them to grip to mirrors, glass and most flat smooth surfaces. (Very handy!) In addition, the adjustable ID caps make it easy to identify the content of the bottles. Once used, they are super easy to clean just with warm water, before putting away until the next trip.

4 – MOUNTAINTOP 55L/65L Internal Frame Backpack (with Rain Cover)

Any traveller intending to do substantial walking will be happy with this Mountaintop backpack. It  is water resistant, has various compartments for clothes, food, or whatever you need to have handy. The adjustable hip belt ensures comfort and stability, while the Hydration Compartment with a separate bladder sleeve allows for 3 liters of liquid.  In addition, it comes with a rain cover to keep the content dry.

5 – Deuter Rain Cover III Waterproof Rain Cover for Backpacks 45L to 90L

Not all backpacks come with a rain cover as the one above. In those cases, it is good to have a separate cover for protection. This waterproof, extra large, Deuter cover is made of Taffeta Nylon and offers complete protection from rain and water thanks to high quality PU coating and taped seams. Its bright colour is good for low-visibility conditions. The raincover’s rectangular shape is designed to fit trekking packs with a 45 to 90-liter volume. It weighs 4.5 oz and measures 39 x 15 x 12 in. This is a very useful gift idea for travellers who love the great outdoors.

6 – Waterproof Pouch Set

Whenever we go travelling, the main priority is to keep our documents, cards, money, phones, and even keys, safe and dry.

This waterproof pouch set includes 2 large Heavy Duty Dry Pouches with adjustable waistband, in addition to 4 Bonus Valuable Bags.

Out of all the listed gift ideas for travellers, this is probably one of the most useful for people planning a trip that envolves beach, boats, island hopping, festivals or even city walks during the rainy season!

7 – Samsonite Winfield 2 Hardside Luggage with Spinner Wheels

Depending on the destination, a good old traditional quality piece of lugage may be the most appropriate. In those cases, nothing like a Samsonite to serve the purpose! This elegant brushed polycarbonate model is extremely lightweight and flexible, yet resistant. It comes with incorporated TSA locks and durable spinner wheels. The fully-lined interior has cross-straps, a privacy curtain with its own zippered organizational pockets. If you are looking for a high quality gift for a special travel lover, this Samsonite might fit the profile! (Comes in a variety of colours!)

8 – ECOdept Microfiber Travel Towel

When on the road we never know when a towel may come in handy. This is why we like to travel with a light-weight microfiber travel towel, which also makes for a great gift idea for travellers. These are good for taking to the beach, swiming pool and even if one needs to take a shower at the airport!

9 – Superlite Yoga and Pilates Travel Mat

I like to take my yoga mat everywhere I go, however, sometimes it is not practical because it is big and not very flexible. For any yoga lover who likes to keep up with practice while travelling, a travel yoga mat is a must-have and a perfect gift. I have researched extensively and this is my favourite one. Manduka is one of the top brands for yoga mats and accessories.

10 – Anker Power Bank

With our high dependancy in electronics a power bank is a fundamental item to carry in our travels. This power bank by Anker, is compact, light, high speed and certified safe.
