MINDVALLEY REVIEW – ARE THEIR PROGRAMS RIGHT FOR YOU?

This Mindvalley review sheds some light into this revolutionary learning platform offering mind-blowing content in an array of categories of human transformation.

Are their programs the best option for you?

We are here to find out.

I am assuming you are here because you have explored their programs, and free Masterclases and are now wondering whether it is a good idea to invest in a program, or even in All Access.

That being the case, while going through Mindvalley reviews online, you will come across controversial information. Although their ratings are generally extremely good, there is one particular issue that comes up often. This is where I will be focusing my review.

On this post I will be covering the following:

WHAT IS MINDVALLEY

As I mentioned before, and you probably already know, Mindvalley is a revolutionary online learning platform.

Their platform offers a multitude of programs to choose from in the categories of MindPerformanceBodySoulWorkEntrepreneurshipRelationshipsKids, Teens and Parenting, as well as what they call partner programs.

The trainers at Mindvalley are the top in their field, and in fact, I had come across some of them, throughout the years, during my own personal growth journey.

HOW DOES MINDVALLEY WORK?

The process of enrolling and joining a program is quite straight forward, as the site is well structured and user-friendly.

First, you go to Mindvalley website to choose a program that interests you. (If you are a self-development aficionado like myself, you will feel like a kid in a toy store!)

Then, you choose a free Masterclass or a program. I highly recommend taking a Masterclass first as it is free and it gives you the opportunity to have a taste of what you will be getting from the program.

For people with enough time on their hand, there is also All Access, an option that, as the name indicates, gives you access to all of the programs.

The programs have the format of what Mindvalley calls a “quest”, a system of microlearning based on neuroscience, speed learning and peak performance techniques.

There are set dates to start a quest and all you need are about 10 to 20 minutes per day, depending on the quest.

Quests can be completed at your own pace although Midvalley highly recommends taking daily classes, preferably at the same time, to help establish the habit.

That being said, you can take the classes whenever is best for you and once the program is finished you will have unlimited access to the material.

ATTENTION: Partner programs such a Lifebook OnlineWildfit,  Omvana, are not part of all access!

THE MAIN COMPLAINT ABOUT MINDVALEY EXPLAINED

Now I’m going to ask you to bear with me for a minute and if you understand well enough how social media algorisms and online marketing works just breeze through this sector. (Mind you, I am no expert, but I am an informed user and old-timer marketeer).

That being said, one of the main complaints about Mindvalley is their aggressive marketing approach. That’s true and you will realize that from the moment you start searching for anything Mindvalley-related on the internet. Also, once you sign up they will try to cross-sell other programs.

Let’s first look at the “aggressive” Mindvalley ads.

On a separate, yet relevant note, have you watched the documentary The Social Dilemma? If not, I highly recommend you do.

Why? Because you will understand the real reason why you may be bombarded with Mindvalley ads once you start searching for them. In fact, the more you look, the more ads you will get.

On this matter, we must be aware of how algorithms of giant social media platforms work. We are the ones feeding information to the big platforms and advertising only comes up, for example, in the middle of you watching something, because the channel owner allowed for it to happen!

We are living in a marketing age where we are the ones determining what we are being fed. We need to be very aware of our interaction with social media and how that reflects on what the social media platforms feed back to us. What I mean is, if you are seeing a lot of Mindvalley adds on YouTube, it’s not them but you who are bringing that on.

Let me give you an example. I read a Mindvalley review where someone complained that they were seeing Mindvalley adds even in the middle of their meditation. The reason why that happens is that the channel owner decided that at that moment in their video an ad will appear. Now, most likely, they will have chosen the option of an ad that is the best fit for your interests. So, whatever topic you have been researching most on the internet will show up here.

Advertizers make the adds, social media distributes them, profile and account owners determine if and where that ad will be shown, but ultimately we are the ones telling platforms what we are interested in, based on our interactions on the internet. And that’s what they show us.

So, if you are getting a lot of Mindvalley information everywhere you look, it means that you are looking a lot for Mindvalley-related information, e.g. – self-development, personal, growth, online learning. If you stop, the ads will stop overtime… and whichever new topics you are searching will replace Mindvalley’s ads.

Regarding Mindvalley’s so-called aggressive cross-selling, from a business and marketing perspective… that’s business!

If you had 3 products to sell wouldn’t you like your clients to buy at least two, preferably three of these products at a time, or consecutively?

Besides, a business cannot evolve and thrive without capital, and if you have been following Mindvalley for years, as I have, you will have noticed the exponential improvement in the quantity and quality of what they have to offer.

MY OPINION ABOUT MINDVALLEY

You can probably figure out that my opinion about Mindvalley is positive.

I like the fact that Mindvalley presents alternative methods of dealing with fundamental aspects of life using innovative methods.

In my opinion, if you are on a dedicated self-improvement journey, are open-minded and not afraid to step outside of your comfort zone, enjoy online learning and being cheered along the way, Mindvalley will blow your mind. It certainly did mine!

Although I do realize that Mindvalley’s format and content may not be the most appropriate for everybody, I truly believe that their programs are a valuable tool.

If you enrol with an open heart and intention to learn and extract the most out of what these programs have to offer, they will be worth your money.

When it comes to assimilating and implementing the teachings, like in any learning process, we have to put in the effort and practice what we learn.

CONCLUSION

The road of self-development, personal growth, personal transformation or whatever you like to call it, is a never-ending journey. It takes determination, commitment, patience, persistence and perseverance.

No course, workshop, seminar, retreat or book will perform a miracle in your life. Only you will. My honest opinion is that if you put in the work Mindvalley programs can be a good partner in helping you shape your miracle.

I hope this review helps you make the best decision for you and if you choose to enrol in any of the programs do let me know your feedback.

Good luck!
